These are the steps in getting the Cyber Chip

Steps

The Scout and Star ranks (requirement #6) require you to complete the Personal Safety Awareness Training (formerly known as Cyberchip) with your parents. The requirements for this training includes:

1. Complete the following pamphlet with your parents:

• How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide

• This can be found in the front of your Scout Handbook

2. Watch the following videos with your parents:

   1. Personal Safety Awareness Videos

• Scout rank ONLY needs to watch the Scout rank video

• Star rank needs to watch BOTH the Scout and Star rank videos

3. Have your parents and yourself sign the following contract, or create your own:

• Example Scout Cyber Chip Contract

When you have completed the requirements with your parents, please bring in your signed contract and your scout book to the next meeting to get the requirements signed of
